I pulled the unit out a couple weeks ago and was going to send it off to pioneer and have them reset it for 80 bucks plus shipping. well last night I took a BIG chance and purchased the reset off ebay. basically its a file you load onto a micro SD card and insert the card into the unit while it is powered up and sitting on the "enter password" screen. when you insert the card after a minute the unit will reboot and will come up on another screen. in this screen you can basically reset to factory default. this did reset it and was like you just took out of the box. will have to reset all your s
  2. I disconnected my battery a couple weeks ago and when I reconnected it asked for password which I knew it would. I have tried my password every which way I could think of and it wont accept it. there is only one password I use for everything. im not sure what I am doing wrong or done wrong during setup but I need my radio on my 1 hour drive to work at 5am to help me stay awake. I called pioneer and they want me to send it to them along with $80 after I pay shipping and insuring. I cant see paying this fee for them to reset.
