  1. I just had an AvicX-930BT installed to replace my Avic-D3 which was damaged in an accident. My problem is only my door speakers are working. I have a Kicker sub amp feeding an enclosed box with a Kicker Comp CV-12 sub and it 's not working. I had my stereo shop do the install, I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas.
  2. Sorry no answers on this. I didn't go to my installer, I've been mad busy with work and our hours don't mesh. I have since had an accident and am looking to replace my D3.
  3. I talked to my insurance company today, it looks like my stereo is covered with a $250 deductible. I spoke with their company that handles stereo repairs, since my installer isn't in their network, and read them the estimate I got. The rep told me that it's right in line with their prices and was turning it back to my insurance company to cut me a check.

I'm thinking my stereo shop meant the X930BT, their estimate says Pioneer Avic F930BT Navigation System, which I couldn't find on Pioneers website, and the next line says CDiu51V ipod connector.
  5. It's just the touch screen. It still plays I just can't operate the touch screen.

I have to replace my Avic-D3. This is what my stereo shop said is a current replacement. What do you think about this unit?
  7. I had an accident this morning. The guy in front of me had to stop now to keep from hitting a kid that ran accross the road at 35 MPH, needless to say I had to stop now. Luckily I stopped before I hit him, but my dog was in the passenger seat and she ended up hitting my D3's touch screen and shattered it. If I could have caught that kid I would have strangled him. I went to my stereo shop and got an estimate, it was 1,065 to replace it. They quoted for an Avic-F930BT. I didn't find this on Pioneers website. I'm assuming they meant Avic-X930BT which is a current model replacement for my D3. I d
  8. No one has any ideas? I'm calling my installer tomorrow. He's one of the top 100 installers in the country, he guarentees his work for the life of your car. I was just hoping it was something simple I could try.
  9. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this. I haven't used my IPod touch for about a week, well tonight I went to hook it up to my D3 and it popped up on the screen about not being able to watch video while moving and when I hit IPod from the menu the screen goes black and says to use IPod to control. I've had this installed since 09 and it was bypassed when installed, I've had no problems with this setup and just wondering if anyone has seen this. While this goes on with the screen I do get music from the IPod and I can change songs from the IPod itself. Thanks for any info in advance.
  10. mines mounted on the front part of my dash right under the windshield. it's in an 05 Durango, no problem so far with the antenna in that location.
  11. mine did this. i changed it to always connect and put in the 0000 code and it works fine now.
  12. not at all had mine installed 3 weeks ago and the bypass works perfect. i would look for another shop if you can. i bought my system off the internet and went to a local shop who is an authorized pioneer dealer for the install. i asked them to bypass it for the nav and they said no problem.

    I am a newbie

It makes the d3 able to play dvd's and also lets you change destinations while you have the navi on without stopping and setting the parking brake.
  14. Which unit are you using? I did this on my D3 and it worked flawlessly.
  15. I actually figured it out yesterday. I had to shut the phone off again for about a minute then when I trurned it back on it paired up and I was able to transfer the phonebook. I did have to do them one at a time but it wasn't a big deal just scrolled through the list and sent them then paired the 2 back up when I was done.
