  1. I have been trying to like this thing, but it is really not growing on me at all. I think the UI is terrible and non-intuitive. The screen is unusable in daylight, and I have tried and tried to adjust the brightness and contrast. The dimmer function does not work as described, or at least the way I think it is described. For instance, AUTO mode is supposed to dim when the headlights are on, and not dim when they are off. Mine doesn't do anything at all when you switch the headlights on and off.   2. DisLikeUsOnFB nailed it. I took my truck back to the dealer who had charged me $175 for the install of my AVIC-8200 and they never even checked Android Auto functionality. Turns out the tech had plugged the extension into USB1 (even though I told the sales guy I was using Android, he did not pass that to the tech), and had gone the lazy way and turned on the bypass but did not connect the parking brake wire.   3. I bought an AVIC-8200NEX yesterday from a local shop. They did the install (charged $175, which I think is ridiculous but that's another story). When they announced it was done the sales guy gave me a quick runthough. We paired my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) that I had already installed Android Auto on (latest version). Unfortunately the sales guy was so busy being cool (let's check out this bad boy, bro!), that he couldn't wait to get rid of me, and we never checked actual operation of Android Auto.
