Any hack to increase width of fm/am RDS text or information?

03 August 2017 - 05:58 PM

Is there a way to increase the width of the RDS information displayed in the main screen? Its too short

and information scroll on such a short width.

Looks like pioneer programmers set the RDS width the same length as the left panel "station list",

where in fact they can program the width to occupy the whole screen line to the right.

Any hack to fix tuner display of "Station List"?

To select a station preset you can press "next" or on display tap "arrow right". Display will scroll right and shows list of preset stations.

Is there a hack to keep the station list displayed all the time, when in "Tuner Source". So when I select the station, its on the screen, rather than doing 1 extra step.

How to add Source Off icon on main display.

Is there a hack to enable "Source Off" icon on the main screen, rather then going thru 2 or 3 steps.

Much like the sticky "Settings" icon.

Its really useful in case you want to immediately turn off the volume while driving, say there

is a siren, or emergency situation on the road and you want to hear whats going on immediately.
