  1. When flipping through my ipod songs, it often selects instead of scrolls. Is these a way to adjust this?
  2. In 2002 4runner. Went well for the most part. A couple comments/thoughts for those that may benefit: I got it all tested, wired, retested, and put back together. I have an iPhone 6 plus and an iPod classic, which sits in the glove box. I thought i was being smart by running the lightning cable to USB1 and out of the dash, and instead of running my ipod classic right to USB2 (thus leaving no USB avail), i used the provide USB extensiion and left this in the glove box. I tested the ipod to make sure it'd work, which it did. I installed a new backup camera (fun), and was looking at the
  3. I am replacing an AVIC D3 with the NEX 4100 tonight. I have an iPhone 6 plus. Do i need the CDIH202? If so, what does it do? My intentions were to mimic my screen for use of Siri, texting, and apps, as well as music etc. I have a lightning cable, RCAs, etc., this is not my first install (20+ years of it). Just not sure what the whole HDMI/CD!H202 does? What will/will not work without it?
  4. I spoke with the Nav group @ pioneer regarding this. He suggested i changed the setting to give me 6 options, I didn't even know it had this feature. It still doesn't match the short distance of my standalone, but at least I have options. He said the new maps may fix this, and to expect Spring release of them. (April/May). I wonder how much they charge for them?
  5. I have a D3 that I installed about 3 months ago. I had a little cheapo Windshield mount GPS, which i continued to use. (IT was $150 new) The problem i have is with how the D3 routes. If I tell it shortest on a common route, it takes me say,, 35 miles, whereas the little cheapo GPS takes me 28 miles. The road are not newer that the cheapo is taking me on. Any comments? That happens every time, they never both agree and the little cheap one is always shorter, and have yet to figure it out.
