  2. I tried to reconnect the mute wire in the #2 connector harness and broke the harness near the #1 pin on the plastic. Anyone have a spare they want to let go of for someone in a pinch. Not looking for any freebies (unless you just want to let one go) but don't want to go overboard either with Pioneer parts dept. HELP ! Brian
  3. I too had the same problem when loading the file. I used Nero 7 Essentials to burn the ISO file. I inserted the the disc and received the same error message. I ejected the CD and reinserted it until the HU began to read the disc. I then depressed the map button for a few seconds and the update screen popped up. I selected OK, loaded the files and updated the unit. Dont know if that was a fluke or what but it worked for me. Now I am getting the EBrake message again so the mute wire to the harness must have a bad connection. Have to remove it from the harness and make a tighter connecti

Metra GMOS -01 is for the Non Bose/Amplified GM vehicles with OnStar but will it work with NON OnStar vehicle also like my 2006 Chevy Silverado 4dr with Standard Radio Non Apllified, Non Bose and no OnStar?? I am installing the AVIC Z2 and will be using the GMRC-01 for the factory chimes and warnings, but if the GMOS-01 will work that would be better. Brian
