  1. It plays playlists straight through and allows you to control via touchscreen. You have to put what ever videos you want in a playlist. Reset the Ipod and play from the playlist. You do however have to use the ipod to switch the source from music to video tho. After you do that you can put the ipod away.
  2. HifiSi that is a good idea, however because I'm using my remote I need to have my zen players ir receiver in reach of the ir remote control. Which means if I am flipping through tracks or changing settings, my zen player would have to have an exposed cord anyways. But I do think I may be able to conceal it more your way. I just need to figure out how to take out the unit and do that. I didnt install it and I dont want to pay them just to do that.
  3. I have my creative zen w connected to the front of the D3. Pioneer sells a cable that allows video through the front of the unit. You can buy that cable off of ebay or amazon. You plug your av cords that came with your zen player into the cord (female) supplied by pioneer. I play my video that way with no problems. Furthermore, I also have my xbox hooked up the same way. I have a remote control for my zen so it is just as easy to use as the touchscreen for me. Only negative is that you will have a cord hanging down from the unit while it is in use. No biggie.
