1. I'm not sure if you are asking me, referring to my post? But just in case, when I say cut, I mean sever the factory wire in two, then attach one of the ends to the PAC module. When I say strip back the insulation and twist the wire onto it, then there is no cutting involved. You strip back some of the insulation on the factory wire to expose the copper and just twist the PAC wire around it. I had mine installed and this is the information the installer passed onto me. ok. When the wire is cut, can you clarify which lines on the PAC module are connected to the factory wire. We
 2. Wow. I have exactly the same problem (same vehicle, deck and everything). Would you mind putting up a bit of a diagram on this? To splice a wire I thought you would have two wires to connect. Are you saying that the fix was just to bare the wire and twist the 2 together? This just dos not seem to be much of a differnece compared to tapping the wire. Thanks for your help.
 3. My installer set it up so that I can dim the screen using the dimmer switch for the inside lights of my TBSS. It works kind of. I seems to dm a bit as i turn the knob. However, the thing that is neat is that the screen reverses colors when I dim it all the way down. ie white goes black. So then the screen is mostly black, with the roads being colored lines etc. Kind of looks like a negative image. Anyone else done this?
 4.
Place your unit model here, personal or public then your idea you would like to see come to life. please get as specific as you can with your idea. I will pm you as soon as it's completed, and if it's public I will post it in the "custom backround images" area
I could use one for my 2006 Trailblazer SS (Jewel Red in color). I saw a good base for the design on page 3 of the custom background gallery sticky (chevy-r1.jpg). It would be great to get the red color to better match the SS, and perhaps add the SS logo to the left side? I'm not sure

I screwed up thinking that I had burned a DVD data disk and instead had burned a CD data disk. Sorry to have some people have a shit fit about it. Honest mistake. Probably no consolation. but the CD does work just fine. The player recognizes the CD with well over 100 songs on it.
So a data cdr works fine? what did u use to burn? does it transfer (with song titles etc) to the HD fine?
I used Nero to burn a CD data disk. Just dragged the files (MP3's) from my h
 7. Perhaps this has been asked, but i couldn't find it with a search. When you power off the Z1 the XM radio always goes back to channel 001. Is there a way to have it turn back on to the last channel I was listening to? THanks (please don't flame the newbie)
