I live on the west sid of Las Vegas and I have XM, my wife has Sirius. When I drive her car the signal drops all the time. I almost never lose signal. After the contract runs out I am changing her car to XM. Sirius sucks.

New 3G iphone is the same, I still think that it is the mic. I have checked the mic connection and it doesn't seem to be the mic. I say this because it will not work with the voice comand fo the guidance.

find another installer, I have made many calls with On Star and it never shuts off andything, just mutes.

Sorry if I sounded like an A$$, that was not what I ment to do. I tried un-pairing and re-piaring, but it did not work. Today I tried to use the voice comand and it did not work either, so I think it is the mic. It is not the mic connection because I tried that. I guess my mic just went bad, unless there is a setting I can not find. Again sorry for the tone.

I don't think that 2.0 is the issue... I've had the Iphone since day one...and had the Z2 well before... The BT has been the same... if anything, it's gotten better.... But you still have to play with the BT volume while connected, to get the best volume/without echo.... which for me is about a couple clicks above 1/2 volume on the Iphone... I have my Avic's settings all the way up... and just use the Iphone's BT volume(when connected) to moderate the volume/echo.... I guess you misread my post, I do not have an echo. They can not hear me at all. I have tried to adjust the volume leves

My iphone worked great before I did the upgrade to 2.0. Now I can hear people on the other end, but they can not hear me.

Just a bit more info. I have an iphone, it worked fine untill I upgraded to the new 2.0 software. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. It does the same thing with my wifes iphone. I will check with another phone if I can get my hands on one.

Just took out the headset and unpluged the mic and pluged it beack in, and nothing. Anyone have any ideas.

Will do. I just hate to because there is no easy way to get behind it without taking it out.

I searched and could not find an answer. Untill yesterday my bluetooth worked just fine, and now I can hear people but they can not hear me. Is it possible that the microphone has lost it's connection, or is it a more serious issue.

I have seen these posted on the Smart Car fourm, but I had not heard of anyone using them. Let me know how it goes when you get yours installed. As it will be some time before I get my Four-Two. I just reserved one today. I love my Hummer, but I only drive about 25 miles total every day, and it is all city driving. So I figured I should get something that gets better gas milage. Because I think gas is going to hit the $7+ per gal. mark in the us.

I currently have a Hummer and a Avic Z2 upgraded to the Z3. I am selling my Hummer and getting a Smart car. My question is, can I find a mounting bracket for the Smart car? The smart has benn out for a long time in the UK. I would like the F series, the 90 to be exact.

Not trying to be a smart A$$, but I did not know 2 years ago that thye did not have my are on the map, for two reasons. One, it was not here two years ago. Two, I did not have the Z2 two years ago.

My wife drives a BMW 650ci, and her map update from BMW that we just bought at the local dealer has our subdivisionon the map. But my Z2 updated with the Z3 image still doesnot have my subdivision. The sub. is about 2 1/2 years old. We live in the Greater Las Vegas Area. p.s. My mother-in-law drives an Audi A6 and her map update has it as well.
