I have no idea what they are. I know I've read this somewhere in these forums, but my searches haven't found anything. Since I updated to 2.0, these triple blue box POIs have appeared on my maps. I had gas stations showing and restaurants showing on my maps only. What are these the icons for, and how do I get rid of them? Thanks in advance

Post 2.0, I love my unit. My biggest gripes are gone. Pre-2.0, the one thing that made me very happy I bought this unit was the community. Have you read the crazy stuff people are doing in the hack/mods forum? It's insane. I added a few tweaks to my system that have made it much more user friendly.

I've tried a few (parking break mod, mute voice guidance), and from what I can tell, nothing in the Data.Zip is different from pre2.0. My mods worked great.

lol. I didn't know the blue box in question was already a button! I'll check it out before I decide to mod that one... Maybe I'll come up with a different button I like better.

Hi, I'm nervous about playing around with my data.zip file, and I was hoping one of you AVIC hacking gurus could help me. I'd like to change the big, squarish top/left blue box into a delete route button. Can someone please point me into the right direction? I'd appreciate it very, very much.

There are a ton of posts about the different mods all in different states of completion. I think it's pretty juvenile to have included that file in the firmware package. I'm glad the OP found it b/c I'm going to be deleting that out of my update files. No need to add any more unnecessary junk to an already slow system.

AVIC Feeds - is it out yet? I was trying to look around for it, and I'm just not seeing a download link anywhere on the page linked.

My clock randomly will switch a few hours, then... it goes back to normal after a few more hours. Very odd. I've also had my screen switch to "night" mode in the middle of the day and switch back to day mode after an hour or so. very weird.

only time I have a problem on my 1gb card (only one I've tested so far) is when i'm on map mode & it changes song titles. It stutters for a split second and keeps going right as it's changing the song title that displays on the bottom right.

So, we can upload POIs from SD/USB. Is there anyway to get a list of POIs? For example, I don't like there are no longer specialized icons for different restaurants as in the D3. Is there any place to say... download an icon & a bunch of POIs for different chains? Then, I could upload them to my unit under a new category with a new specialized icon.
