I installed the CD I200 on my D3, and connected an ipod nano. when I select the IPOD source icon the ipod home screen appears but there is no information about the music or playlists available. When i select a catagory to search for a song nothing happens, nothing appears on the screen. I have toggled the ipod charge charge button on and off and nothing happens. can anyone help me with this?

Is it really necessary to hookup the vss wire for the avic?
