  1. Thank You, that was much more helpful! I had noticed those posts, but when I saw that they were PAC interfaces, I automatically assumed they were for corded remotes or for existing volume controls on the cars steering wheel. Cheers, eGo
  2. Hey, Thanks for being so helpful! Believe it or not, I did search, but didn't get what I was looking for.. Hence the reason I asked the questions I did.. I'm sorry that it was so difficult for you to post a response with the information that I requested and that it warranted your response. I'm a moderator of a couple of different forums and I know how to use the search functions and do so quite well. But again, thanks for the response you gave, even if it was kind of uncalled for.. Have a Great Day!
  3. I'm going to second this one.. I did a search but didn't come up with much.. I may be hacking my X910BT this weekend and would like to know how to back it up before I get started.. TIA! eGo
  4. Hello All, I've had my X910BT for about 6 months and have some questions.. I haven't hacked it yet, but if it will give me what I'm looking for, I will probably do it this weekend.. If hacking won't give me what I want (or some other things I don't know I want yet haha) then I'll probably be looking to trade the X910BT+some cash for a D3. 1) Is there any way to make it PAUSE the audio/video when a call comes in like the D3 did? 2) Calculate Multiple routes in Nav mode like the D3? 3) Are there any remotes (preferably wireless) available for the X910BT yet? 4) Can you keep
  5. No, I haven't yet.. I'm kind of weary of bricking it I see lots of mods I'd like to do, but don't want to be the first lol
  6. Maybe there is something goofy with your disc? Mine zooms in to .1 Do you have another disc to try? Sorry I can't be of more help.. eGo
  7. Do you follow the same procedures as you would for an F90? I noticed there aren't any posts here for any real hacks available yet.. TIA! eGo
  8. This has since remedied itself for me eGo
  9. Thanks to everybody for their information.. Especially 1loudls. I don't think I'll bother with the VSS because the Nav seems to work fine without that being hooked up. But as mentioned, I will be tapping into that reverse wire. Sorry for the confusion of my original question. eGo
  10. I could be wrong, but I think there is something in the nav settings to enable turn by turn? I never had to, it was just set that way.. But might be worth a look? eGo
  11. I'm liking my X910BT so far. The only things I've found so far that are annoying, I'm sure there is a fix, are that when a call comes in, the unit goes to the NAV screen. The iPod has to be unplugged and plugged back in if the car has been off for more than 10 minutes. So far that's it.. I think.. eGo
  12. Yah, it turns on the backup camera that I'm installing.. So I kinda need it. Anybody else got any info? TIA! eGo
  13. Anybody got a work around for this? I'm installing my D3 in my g/f's 2008 XL7 and the wire harness I bought does not have a VSS or Reverse wire. Not really interested in spending the extra money for the fancy harness. If there's a work around for this, I'd really like to know, so I can get this all setup tomorrow. I just finished installing my amp and new speakers that are mated with my X910BT. eGo
  14. Alright! Got my wiring all cleaned up. I had some pretty sloppy stuff going on. But it's amazing how much better that thing fits in my car without having to cram the BT box in there too. I had to do some creative wiring in a spot or two based on my getting cut happy the first time I wired everything up for my D3. The bypass worked well, that was a blessing. But I'm forseeing a problem with my rear output in the future... One of the pins for the rear output is loose and won't stay in the connector properly. Hopefully I'll be able to get a connection with it, but I won't know till my a
  15. I pulled the harnesses and put them both side by side and they are, in deed, the exact same harness, so that was plug and play. I'm in the process now, of cleaning up my original shoddy wiring lol Thanks eGo
