  1. Thanks for the help - it works fine!
  2. Many thanks for all the direction and help. I just got through messing around with it this morning to double-check and see if the feature works - it does. I tied in another + lead (temporary) into the ACC hotwire and tapped it against the reverse gear wire to see if it would engage - it did. Many thanks again and I'll look at the 12volt.com website to locate the wires that I need.
  3. It's a 2008 double-cab PreRunner. Thanks again for any advice-help.
  4. My AVIC-D3 was installed last month and everything is working fine. I bought a camera (Pioneer) and got it to work fine through the navigation options menu screen but I didn't have a clue concerning the best place to tie the reverse gear signal wire in so that this feature would work. I tied the positive-hot wire into the ACC wire coming into the D3 plug and grounded it to the truch (08 Tacoma) body under the console. 5. I need some help concerning the Pioneer camera I just bought. I hooked the positive wire from the camera power box to the ACC lead wire and I grounded it to the truck body. It works fine through the navigation options menu but I don't have a clue about where to hookup the reverse gear signal wire (part of the head unit plug) so that it will automatically engage when the truck is in reverse. I'd like to keep the camera but if I can't get the reverse feature to work and I have to go through the menu each time I'd rather go with a cheaper camera Any help will be greatly appreciate
  6. I need some help-guidedance concerning the Pioneer camera I just purchased. I installed my AVIC-D3 last month and everything is working fine (Bluetooth and IPod). I just purchased a new camera and the salesperson lead me to believe that the reverse gear function was an easy installation process. I connected the positive to the ACC lead on the back of the head unit and grounded it to truck body (2008 Tacoma). The camera works fine when I go through the map options and engage it but I still want the reverse gear option to work. Where do I connect the reverse gear wire that is
