  1. I'm not sure if this will work for the F series, but it's the only double din trim kit I've found on Pioneers site. http://www.pioneerusa.com/PUSA/Products ... /ADT-VA133
  2. If you set them to the bottom there is no overlap. If for some reason you like them at the top I would disable the signboards. I will try to fix it but there is really no other place to put them if you want them at the top. I am running out of screen real estate. I will think of something else to do. Maybe I can make it so the signboards are disabled when navigating when the lane info is chosen to be at the top. Seems like a lame solution though so I will think about it. I must have completely overlooked that option in the settings. I'll move them to the bottom and see if they'r
  3. Diaftia, Great work on the mods. I installed them yesterday and tested them out for a little while today. I noticed an overlap with the lane guidance and highway signs. Is this in the navigatemap_800_480? If so I can just change the X coordinates. Sorry it's a little blurry, I was driving.
  4. LOL! I noticed the same thing. Some lines said "Singpost" and others said "Signpost". I didn't know what would happen if I corrected the mis-spelling, so I left it alone. I'm still adding my mods post 3.0, so I don't want to throw any wrenches in there at the moment. But I'll try fixing it once everything's stable.
  5. There's not really anything you can do to make it ring. It' has something to do with the head unit and your phone. I used to have a Moto Krzr K1 and it would ring/transmit phones ringtone/notify of SMS. Now I have a Windows Mobile powered Samsung Omnia and it doesn't do any of the above. I know the phone supports it as it works with other bluetooth devices, but the headunit doesn't play nice with other Windows CE devices. I know there used to be a thread around here 4-6 months ago discussing this very topic. Let me see... Here you go: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=17453
  6. Simmo, I'm not sure what "thick black wire" you're referring to but the green parking brake wire should be grounded. That means screwed to a large metal surface such as your car chassis (preferably an unpainted part of your chassis).
  7. I just wanted to thank the OP for all his work. My headunit started this black screen problem a couple of days ago and this thread helped me restore it. I had to reload windows CE a couple of times and cut power to the headunit, but I was finally able to get back into windows to format and restore my flash disk. Thanks.
  8. You can always use the "Show" command and then pick your song. "Show album" whatever. "Show artist" whatever. Then you touch the song you want.
  9. I'm afraid that's not an option. VR can only be used to play by artist/album/genre/playlist. I have tried saying "Play song" whatever, but it doesn't do anything. I can only assume it's because it would take forever to catalog individual songs as opposed to artist/album/genre.
  10. Here you go... http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17317 It's three pages long. Happy reading.
  11. Bluetooth call quality is really subjective. It depends on: * Quality of bluetooth connection between phone and headunit. * Environtment (how noisy your cars cabin is). * Mic placement. People have told me I sound a little distant but I am clear and understandable. I can hear the people on the other end clearly as well.
  12. This is a known issue with the F series. There is a lengthy thread discussing this very issue. You can search for it. The short answer is that its random across the ipod generations. Some people say it works perfectly, others have blurry album art on the F when it's perfectly clear on their ipods (myself included).
  13. I know for a fact that a USB optical mouse does NOT work. No power to the mouse. I haven't tried a keyboard or a ball mouse though.
  14. I don't remember exactly what I changed. But you can compare from the screenshots below.
