I have the same problem intermittently. No solution at this point. After I shut down and restart it is usually OK. Really a PITA though.

Same here. Not every time, but I never had it before the upgrade. I have also had it happen where the screen never came on and none although the music worked, the menu button and map button did not work.

Well I finally found a flaw in the upgrade. Things were going great until yesterday morning. I started the car and music started right away. Then the screen went black. The music continued and I could change source via the steering wheel, but no touch screen. I got to work and at the end of the day, it started up normally without a problem. Then, this morning, the same thing happened. But this time after 10 minutes, the screen came back on, but without the top line of options. No back button or anything. The map and home buttons didn't work either. Again, I could change sources and st

I had no hacks on my system. It installed in 41 minutes. No problems at all with the install. I retained my splash screen and all settings. 24 hours and no crashes yet. The beep sound is much better. Phone connection with bluetooth is fine. Ipod control is the same, maybe a little bit faster on song changes. If the ipod is selected when the car is turned on, it begins playing in a second or two. So far I am glad that I spent the $60, only time will tell.

Sweet, I'll have to try this. I am constantly on my phone in the car and it really ticks me off.

I can't vouch for the bluetooth quality yet, but for some reason I still have the blue boxes on my map screen. Nobody else seems to still have them.

My startup time is better and the contacts all say the location, but I still have the green/blue boxes on the map screen all the time. Anyone else?

I just called them again and the service technician told me that they have no ETA, but a month would be a good estimate. He could not give me any detailed information but said that the iPod stability and bluetooth were certainly concerns. Who knows??

I spoke to a rep yesterday and they said that they were still working on it. I guess that they all have no clue?

I get it regardless of how the call is terminated. Occasionally, I have been able to accelerate it by hitting eject disc and then popping the disc back in. But usually it takes forever to get going again.

I'm using a Samsung sch-i760 windows mobile phone and I can make calls etc.. My problem is that during the call, there is a high pitched whine that comes and goes and is more like feedback than anything else. In addition, when I end the call on the phone itself, by pushing the hang up button on the screen or if the other person hangs up, the call ends but the unit takes 5 minutes or so to clear the phone call and start playing music again. Anyone else having these problems? I was going to try to reset the unit and delete all entries and resynch, but this is the second time alr

mine didn't work before the upgrade and still doesn't work. It also doesn't recognize my commands for bluetooth, but at least the calls are clear now. It may be that my car interior is louder than most (corvette) but I dynamatted and it really isn't that loud. I'll play with the voice recognition again and see if there is something that I am doing wrong.

with the upgrade released last night, the play order remains correct. Also, you can change the default from shuffle to non. Hope that helps.

Updated last night. 1. Bluetooth is perfect (using Samsung sch-i760 smart phone) 2. Ipod is not cataloging. It tries and after a minute I get a message that it was unable to catalog the songs. 3. Songs are now in correct order on ipod and individual playlists can be shuffled correctly. 4. Much faster response time to touchscreen 5. Much more readable contrast 6. The voice recognition does not work at all for anything. ?? It is about an 8/10 for me. I'm OK with it, but still need to figure out the VR problem.
