Got the $100 rebate for x910bt today. Bought from 6ave thru amazon. Sent 2/22/2010. Listed 3/1/2010 Check issued 4/5/2010 Happy now. Maybe I'll get z110bt since it's pretty cheap with $200 rebate and sell the x910bt.

I don't think there'll be any issue with 6ave(thru amazon) rebate. Couple of things, I don't think rebate house will call 6ave to verify and the invoice does not indicate it's bought through amazon. Even if the rebate is denied I don't think i'll have any problem calling and getting the rebate. Technically I'm still buying from authorized retailer 6ave and the term and conditions does not specifically prohibit me buying/paying through amazon. I have done enough rebates and not worried about buying from 6ave/amazon but there is always a risk with all rebates. I'll find out though. Or you can

Ahhh, i bought my x910bt last week for $570 from 6ave thru amazon. Now it's $50 or so cheaper. Regarding the rebate, it shouldn't be problem since 6ave include their own invoice in the package.

Samsung SGH-A437 phone book transfer woes!!!

bt on that a437 only support handsfree headset so you cannot transfer phonebook etc. -
Currently, I can find f90bt for about $830 from authorized dealer. At the time when I was buying, f90bt was only $50 cheaper (dnx8120 - $1048) and not shipping. If i'm buying right now i might go for f90bt but no regret on getting the kenwood.

Yay, i got mine installed last weekend and it's quite nice. I was to get f90bt from al-eds and end up getting dnx-8120 for pretty much the same price. Al-eds f90 price + tax = dnx8120. The only issue i sometime face is with nav voice stuttering when there is a screen update going on. It doesn't happen all the time and I'm not sure if it is text-to-speech or something. I'm going to update Garmin firmware and try to see if i can update 2009 maps too to see if it helps. One other gripe i have is with Nav volume which is fixed in the setting. It does not vary/stay with regular volume setting. And

i got it for $1048 from 6ave with coupon aflken1048. i have to pay tax at al-eds so f90bt was $1071.

well, it's running a wince core.

I was told pioneer talked to al & ed last Thursday but did not give any ETA. This is when I called to cancel my f90bt order early Monday.

So I too broke down and bought a dnx8120 (same price as al-ed f90bt + tax) over the weekend after considering my options and cancelled al-ed's f90bt order. I need something that just works for my wife to use in her car since I've already sold the oem nav which does not have touch screen. Also I should be able to upgrade the maps every year from Garmin and not have to wait from Kenwood/Pioneer. I might replace dnx8120 with f90bt if pioneer come out with a decent fix on nav crashes, bluetooth quality and boot time. Hopefully, Pioneer can dish out fully tested firmware before releasing this t
