Does anyone know a reliable installer in Toronto area that can install a REAL CD-i200 in my car?

Anyone got it to work on D3 using any method at all? I tried using resupported4, TV mirror out, cd-i200 cable. No go so far Only sound but no video.

I've tries tvout 2, no it didn't work. I start to doubt that my cable is fake. But I got it from authorized dealer. So I need to know if this cable cd-i200 is suppose to be able to watch video? I've read ur other thread that was sticked, everything works fine except video, and of course charging.

I've been doubt that the cable is fake, but I bought this unit from the authorized dealer and they help me do the installations well. Dang what should I do now? Will av cable out to aux will work?

Just tried and didn't work. Think it didn't work since my iPhone 3G, and I always thought that I need another cable to do that, like aux out or something :/

Oh it also saids use iPod for full operation on the d3 screen

Black screen but have sound. To specify, I want it to work with other app if possible, such as you tube and such. I don't mind if it doesn't have on screen control. As long as it stops playing when the phone ring, I'll be happy with that

Hey guys, I had been using an iPhone 3G, and I have the Avic D3 unit for 3 years. Got the cd-i200 cable along with it, and I knew that it doesn't charge. Now that I got my iPhone4 and would like to try video out, which I've never use it with my iPhone 3G before at all. I plugged in the iphone 4 to the cd-i200 cable, as expected charging doesn't work, but also video out doesn't work. i got this problem as well, it's best to be precise, and not have to look around for the building that i am trying to look for the number sign

what does that mean exactly?

I find the routing is off when I am at downtown area with lots of tall building, is there a GPS antenna booster for the D3?

i installed mine in the C320 no problem, but i don't have BOSE system, which means no fiber optic, installation is still possible even with u have fiber optic, just that it will cost more for labour cost for ur installer. Might wanna ask your local installer for informations and recommendation

I haven't had any problem with this so far. What i'd so if i wanna watch DVD movie, and wanna route. Put in the Navi Disc, set ur destination (set a several if u are going to several places), after the route is planned and it memmed into the memory, then i take the Navi disc out, put the DVD in and it's good to go. As long as before you get on the road, when u set ur destination, put in the navi, after that u can do whatever u want. But if you happen to change destination or cancel a way point, then u have to re-insert the disc again. I'd say, the money i save is worth the few seconds putt
