  1. Thank you for hosting it. I have never used winrar. Is that the easiest tool or is there a better/easier one?
  2. I had a question about the backup process. I got past the available space issue by changing the name of the sd card. But when I copied the flash disk to the card I got an error message about some file it couldnt copy. It didnt mention a complete file name. I think it was just a letter. I think a 't'. I tried it multiple times including turning off the radio and going back into test mode. It did copy 1.61 gigs which I verified on my computer. I just want to make sure there isnt anything missing that would stop me from restoring after applying one of the full hacked in
  3. A quick update. I have not made any changes to the system but somehow it has been been ok since I held the reset button for 5 seconds on Friday. I am sure it's a coincidence but is there any logical reason this should have solved the issue? My next change will be to install the full install from cmh928.
  4. Thanks for the response. I am using the maps that were shipped in the unit. No upgrades here. I'm not sure of the exact version. No igo changes either. Everything is exactly as shipped from the factory. With the exception of the hardwired bypass (ground wire and pin change). I will look into the hacked version of the ezrider file. I was hoping not to have to mess with hacking/changes. But if thats what it takes, then I may try it. Any other suggestions?
  5. I have had the F90bt about 6-9 months and love it. I got it with the initial software and updated it to 2.0 when it first came out. It has ZERO software mods but is harness hacked which was done on day one. I have changed absolutely nothing else. Last week the radio popped up an error message at start up saying the ezrider program had a fatal application error. If you touched the button it would boot in and play for a while. then reboot and do the same thing. If you didnt hit the ok button it would eventually reboot on its own. It would continuously reboot even if the radio was tur
  6. I have a F90BT and have been getting similar issue. The rebooting was coupled with a error message on the screen that mentioned a 'Fatal Application Error' with the application ezrider. Ezrider is part of the navigation software. I had to pull mine out and send back to Pioneer to get a complete reflash. I am not as savy with the hacking stuff so I didnt want to try modifying anything myself. Some have said they made some changes to the files on the unit and had anything from a complete fix to something that got them working temporarily only to have the issue come up again a week or
  7. I currently have the F90bt in one car and the D3 in another. I do agree the screen is to small. The D3 was small but as you stated, the F screen is smaller which is going in the wrong direction. I do like the voice control alot on the F. And the screen looks great albeit smaller. If I had it to do over aagain, and if the deal wasnt as good as it was on the F I bought from a friend who is a Premier dealer, I would just pony up more money for the Z3. I can live without the voice control. And although I am sure there are features on the F that I havent played with yet, I could probabl
