Great stuff here... I am going to replace the face drive motor sometime this week, I thought they sent me the wrong part, but see they got it right after looking at the last picture. Thanks for posting!

I had the same problem with my iPhone, until I put a pass code in the AVIC and then the same on the phone? Good luck. also had to initiate the connection from the phone.

Is the face missing the mounting screw that holds it to the frame on the right side?

Same here, I contacted Garret on Monday afternoon and had my New drive by Tuesday afternoon. Of course I live in the same general area. He was even kind enough to install the drive for me. Customer service A++++ Thanks Garret.

I would stick with the Z1 and do the upgrade to the Z3 software. You can save some money too.
