  1. This does work on my AVIC W8500NEX. I don’t even have the parking brake wire grounded.

  5. Well I sent out my AVIC-N2 to get the Flex cable upgraded! Took exactly one week to get it back! I live in Michigan and was told to send to Ohio. I was reading all kinds of bad shit on this forum about getting their unit back and Pioneer had un-did their by-pass. I was worried that I was gonna get a service charge or something worse! Well just so you guys know... I did my own bypass with a small bead of solder. It lasted till the screen went out and needed the flex cable upgraded!
