  1. I have been having random restarts on my Z110BT while driving. Not convenient, but not a disaster as the reset is relatively quick... Now I have been getting this error message once in a while, without actually experiencing a restart: "System restart due to tuner error. If error persists, please contact the service center."
  2. I wish this app could draw address information directly from my iPhone Calendar. That would let me send all of my scheduled trips for the day directly to the AVIC. The current method is nothing but a duplication of work that's already been done.
  3. Tom Tom Navigator will let you use a number of different male & female voices in various accents. You can even use John Cleese's voice if you like!
  4. This guy did mine, was great! The Audio Pros 4728 Lankershim Boulevard North Hollywood CA 90602 (818) 508-8000 info@theaudiopros.com
  5. I miss (or I am too dumb to stumble across) the voice commands "Use Freeway" & "Avoid Freeway" that were on my Z1 & Z3. If I am driving on the traffic-jammed freeway with my UNBYPASSED Z100BT, I cannot get the thing to opt off the freeway until I exit and come to a complete stop. But how do I know what exit to take?
  6. I just took out the card altogether, but the unit has still frozen once in a great while... This time, there's a music CD inside
  7. I took out the card and no more freezes. Not a bad card, I've used it in other applications.
  8. ....come to think of it, I did install a 16GB SD Card TODAY. I am guessing what I need to try next is...
  9. I've had the unit installed for a whole 3 days, and it started freezing today - the display, the screen & the buttons. The only thing that helped (all 3 times) was restarting the car. Sounds like my old Z1-3 freezing, except that restarts never seemed to help there. Anybody else?
  10. I'd like to see AVIC FEEDS work: 1) With a Mac 2) With a few less steps, for crying out loud! It's faster to just type in your destination when you're in the car.
  11. I recently upgraded my Z1 to a Z3 with the HDD update, and I've noticed a big difference in the way the software pronounces words of Spanish origin. Granted, some cities & street names are supposed to be pronounced the Spanish way (La Jolla is pronounced with an H, for example), but some are not: My Z3 now says: Los Ang-Hay-Lez instead of Los An-Gel-Ess, Son-ta Mon-Ee-Ka instead of San-ta Mon-I-Ka, Son Di-Ay-Go instead of San Di-Ay-Go. As if that's not bad enough, the voice navigation seems to require Spanish-sounding pronunciations too. I called Pioneer, and they say that t
  12. Try speaking "San Diego" to your Z3 with an obvious Spanish accent. Instead of saying "San" as in "sand," say it more like "son-" as in "sonic." "Diego" is pretty much the same in either language, but try to put a Spanish spin on it too. I did this on my Z3 and it worked. The American English pronunciation did not!
  13. I live in Los Angeles, and just upgraded my Z1 to a Z3. I have noticed that the Spanish pronunciation of words of Spanish origin is now out of control! Yes, "La Jolla" should be pronounced with an H, but not "Los Angeles!" I could not get the voice navigation to recognize the way I said "Los Angeles" anymore. Then I heard the text-to-speech say "Los Ang-Hay-Lez!" Now, if I say "Los Ang-Hay-Lez," it knows where I want to go. Santa Monica is now "Son-ta Moan-Eee-Ka." I'm sure there are many overly Spanish pronunciations that I will stumble across over time. Who's in charge of the
