  1. Hi Try this trick... Connect the cable to the iPhone while the headunit is set to "off". Charging works. Music playback works. Bluetooth phone sync works. This works for me 100% of the time. 32gb IPhone 3gs. Avic f90bt 3.0. Original pioneer cable.
  2. It is not free. $79 US right now. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Accessories/NavigationUpgrades/CNSD-100FM
  3. Just to clear things up, the upgrade is technically for 2009 maps and the firmware upgrade is just an included bonus. Also, based on what i have been reading on the forums, the update will have an introductory price of around $70. IMO, i would get the f90bt. It comes with the ipod cable, larger screen, voice controls, and a 2 year warranty. Even with the upgrade, it should come out to $670.
  4. Hello, according to the Pioneer web site, cartoys.com is an authorized online store. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/FindStore/Buy+Pioneer+Products+on+the+Internet Just remember, you will most likely tack on an additional $70 - $130 for the upcoming 3.0 update Pioneer will be releasing. But seems like a good price with a valid 2 year warranty IMO.
  5. Hey everyone, just doing some research and came accross an online merchant selling the new Z for $1199.00. Does anyone have any experience with this merchant? PC world has tons of positive user reviews for them. I don't think they are a Pioneer Authorized Dealer. Great price if it's legit. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?Source=googlebase&ProductID=21938
  6. Hi, I have a video file on an SD card and once i turn off the car and turn it back on, the video plays back from the beginning. Is there any way to have the file resume playback from where i left off? This happens on both the SD and USB. Even with audio files, it starts the audio files from the beginning each time the navi boots up. I hope there's a solution to this! Thanks
  7. thanks for the reply, but im concerned about the Multi Control wheel controls. For example, im in map mode and have FM radio playing in the background. I want to change to my next "preset" station but pressing the multi control left and right moves to the next frequency, not preset. In other words, if im on station 102.7 and want to get to 106.7, i have to press right on the multi control about 15 times to get there. I know i can just press "FM" and change my presets and switch back to map mode, but i would like to know if there is a way to directly control my presets using the multi
  8. Hello, I noticed that under map mode and other screens, pressing the multi control wheel left and right only changes the FM/AM radio frequencies. Is there a way to cycle through my preset radio stations rather than always having the press the multi control several times to get to the station im looking for?
