A friend of mine has the avic D3 unit... same as mine... and while the navi is navigating it just softens the music and talks BUT u can still hear the music in the background. I cant seem to find this option? does anyone know where to change it? Whenever MINE navigates it totally turns the music ALL the way mute and talks... vs softens and talks? Pic of my car for clicks... help please

Hi i have a 2002 gti, i was wondering where you connect the VSS wire to get a pulse? I bought my unit used so it didnt come with instructions... sorry

Hi i recently installed my D3... and its been working for about 2 weeks but today i was in the middle of a route and it went back to its original location when we first installed it in "hollywood, CA"... The unit recognizes "north" because the screen rotates, but it doesnt move forward or backward, just 360... Anyhelp? Is there a speed sensor wire that possibly got disconnected? Or a bad connection with my antenna? The antenna is in the front window and is viewable 360 to the sky, like i said the unit has worked for 2 weeks, it just goofed today?

On my AVIC D3, during navigation there is an annoying red line showing up that connects the destination and your location (arrow).... is there any way to turn that feature off? I bought it used so i dont have the instruction manual. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
