ok I want to buy the N4 but am heading overseas in a couple weeks and shipping my car there. I know the unit will not work by simply adding maps. Something in the operating software is different or some crap like that. Anyone have any idea's on what can be done?

where can I download maps from though and get the liscense for them?

I don't have much faith in corperations like that. They are always trying to make a big buck, even if it is on the same unit that you have. If they can get you to double pay, they will.... I will try that tomorrow though when they are open, thanks

this is the exact same question I am wondering. I know you can't just upload the maps because they work on two different platforms. Did you come up with anything?

I know this can be done on the z series but I am considering getting this headunit for my car. I am currently in the US but will getting stationed in Germany and will be shipping my car there. Is it possible to redo the software similar to what is being with the z unit or is there another method I could use to do this in order to make this unit work over in Europe. Time is of the essance for me on this as well. Thanks to all that can help
