  1. To whoever is on and seeding - THANK YOU!!!!! I'm set to be done in 27 mins!!!
  2. Flkeysff - I just programmed my older PAC SW on my 06 F350 Z3 - Go to PAC's website and lookup the instructions for your model. It tells you what wires to connect to (they actually connect to the ford harness, so no cutting) and how to program the buttons - works pretty good...
  3. Trying to download the 2012 maps torrent - had 1 seeder for a bit, but lost them, now stuck at 30% - can someone get on and seed please?
  4. Can I simply copy the files/directories from the Gracenote update directly to my HD while I have it out and am upgrading to the 2010 maps? Do I have to follow Pioneers official gracenote update process?
  5. Garrett, how about the new version of 2010 maps out now - version 10.01.0030 released October 2010. It says in order to work on a Z3 you need to also download the Z3 firmware update. If we have a Z2 (upgraded to Z3), how do we go about getting this latest update - Pioneer website link
  6. I noticed there are multiple cables listed on the Pioneer site - which do I get for my iPhone? I'm guessing either the CD-IU205V or the CD-I200 - but what the heck is the diff?? Price is big diff - does the I200 support the charging and music playback on my iphone??
  7. I don't think it can be turned off, but you can simply un-pair your phone with the Z3 (unpair in phone and in Z3 itself) and you'll be good. It won't automatically pair up on startup and you can then use your Jawbone...
  8. OK - my phone worked great prior to upgrading the OS on it to 3.0. Now all my incoming callers hear themselves when talking (an echo) - I don't hear anything during the call, but they say it's horrible - problem wasn't there prior to the iPhone 3.0 OS upgrade - Anyone have this problem and finid a solution? Is there a bluetooth fix/upgrade for the AVIC?? Thanks
  9. Can someone make some for BMW like the ones on the previous page for the FX4 - Ford...those are nice..
  10. Just an FYI - I have the SWI-PS on my AVIC-Z3 and have all the same problems desribed - especially the slow response and the volume running like crazy with just the touch of the vol button - Is there any form of this "key beep delete" mod for the AVIC series - wonder if the deleted files are the same in the AVIC filesystem structure..?? anyone know?
  11. Just saw this on the Pioneer website - what the heck does it mean not compatible??? >>From pioneer Store Songs Internally. Command Playback Vocally. Want quick access to tons of songs? The AVIC-Z3 allows use of up to 10 gigabytes of its HDD space for a music library. You can listen to music while at the ripping and storing tracks at 4 times the playing speed. The system also includes the Gracenote CDDBâ„¢ Music Recognition Service, which automatically "tags" the music you record with the artist name, song title, genre, and album title. This allows you to conveniently access song
  12. I just finished my install a couple days ago and have the new PAC SWI-PS - and yes, it's the new version little blue box...Programming was a PITA, it would stop mid-way and I had to start over...took 6 times to finally get it... My BIGGEST complaint - the volume control seems to go crazy - it works, but too good. I hit the volume button once (up or down) and the PAC will sometimes adjust the volume by one number and sometimes by 6-9 numbers!!!! - insane, I darn near blew my speakers and ears cause it just went crazy and increased the volume of my Z3 to close to 30 (way too much for stock s
  13. I've searched and gone thru ALL the posts and there really isn't much for BMW backgrounds - can someone post some cool ones, like some of the ones I see for Porsche and VW??
  14. Thanks Garret - it ended up working great - what I did notice is that when I restore with Acronis, unless I give the partition a drive letter, nothing will show up in Windows - is that OK?? I did put the drive back into the car and it worked great...
  15. For whatever reason, my Z2 drive (30g) showed up as unpartioned with nothing on it. So here's what I have done: 1. In windows, initialized the drive. Did NOT partion it. 2. Now start Acronis Home edition, select the z3image-1.tib go thru the process to restore each of the 4 partitions - for some reason, it automatically chose the correct size for each.. Hit run and it does it's thing for about 15 minutes. So now what - what about all the other z3image files - there's like 12 of them??? And windows still shows no partitions on the drive, but the 4 new drive letters show up in explor
