I was very disappointed with IOS 8.4. you would think that with the new apple music app (which I love so far) would be CarPlay compatible since it is made by Apple. Also I wish they would fix the album art in CarPlay.

I have a jailbroken 5 and it still works.

first dont forget Pioneer never said what year they just said early summer! 2) on the 9to5mac site it doesnt say anything about pushing back carplay for Pioneer or Alpine just for auto makers. if you want car play so bad just go buy a new ferrari

I am having some issues with bluetooth and wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem. In the middle of a phone call the bluetooth connection just drops out. Nothing that I can think of that could be causing the issue. I am using an iPhone 5 with IOS 7.1 I have tried reseting the phone with no luck and also when it drops out it doesnt reconnect for a while. Almost like the bluetooth feature of the deck has been turned off. Anyone else seen issues like this?

We had some issues with the pac steering controls. There is a new version of them that works better, but honestly I would ask them if they will install the Maestro part for you.

according to ADS there will be an update that pioneer will release sometime this summer. The steering control will work now but the maestro features on the pioneer decks will not work yet.

any update on this??? It only crashes when trying to use the iPod feature in the app. Everything else in the app works great.

I have had the same issues with a few of my customers here in town. I posted about this and have had no response. Pioneer says they have not seen any issues. I know of a few other dealers across the nation with the same problem. What have they told you? the issues we are having here is -unit will reboot after about 20 minutes -unit will randomly bring up improper brake detected warning -some units show vss improper connection warning and you cannot operate the unit until power cycling the unit
