There is a sale going on for Pioneer products at Amazon. 30% off code is B7IN95L6 You can actually get a 920BT for around 500$ if you apply this coupon + 100$ rebate (http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G ... 05216_.pdf) and by getting a 10% off by adding another Pioneer product (add a cheap Pioneer cable or something). http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVIC-X920 ... 127&sr=1-9 This deal is by far the best I have seen for 920BT. Thanks to Slickdeals site for posting this deal.

This is awsome !!! THANK YOU

Did you try the solution outlined in the link I posted? You need to keep pressing the EJECT button a few more seconds. Couple of other things I noticed are 1) My MSN Direct subscription seems to have expired though I have a lifetime subscription and 2) The TTS feature is gone

Could anyone please tell me if this update will work for a US System? Or this is only for EU models?

I have a F900BT upgraded to 3.01. 3.0 was done using the hacked version and the 3.01 was done using the update downloaded from Pioneer. I also used the hacked EZRider to load 2009.6 maps. Everything was working fine until 3 days ago. 3 days ago I had to drive to downtown Toronto where among the highrises its difficult to obtain a good GPS signal. The first sign of trouble was when I started the car and when the main menu came up, tried plotting a course home. The course was plotted, but the map screen was showing map of the destination. At that time, video was also being played with the ou

F900BT reboots over and over - Very weird - HELP!!
sarin_j replied to impulsive.ca's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
This link certainly helped me. My F900BT was constantly rebooting at the splash screen. I couldnt even get into the testmode. I followed the instructions of this link - press reset and eject button together for 5 seconds, release the reset but keep the eject button pressed a few more seconds and release - and i was able to get into the testmode. Then i went ahead and deleted those temo BIN files and the device works now !!! Many many many thanks to all those details without which I would have been completely lost. THANK YOU !!! -
Thanks to the updated install and links posted for the 3.01 upgrade, I was able to successfully complete the upgrade to 3.0 and then onto 3.0.1 without a single problem. Thanks everyone for your valuable suggestions and detailed instructions.

Thank you very much adamdenterkin for the clarification. And for the maps too...

1. Will this work for 3.01? 2. Why do we need maps from Tele Atlas and Navteq? Pioneer uses Navteq, right ?

F900 - Video to rear screen in divx mode.
sarin_j replied to lowbug's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
I have noticed that the DivX play back goes to the rear-screen only if you play that from a file stored on a DVD media. If you try to do that from a USB or an SD, it doesnt go to the rear screen. It could also be that am doing something wrong, but so far I haven't found a way to correct this so far. -
I searched the forums to see if this question has already been asked and I couldnt find any. So pardon me if am asking a question which was answered already and I missed it. I did the upgrade of my F900BT with the 3.0 upgrade posted in the Hacks/Mods forum and it went smoothly - thanks to the very detailed instructions posted. However, I noticed some strange occurances on my device. It looks like the 3D and 2D maps have been switched. What I mean is that when I push the 3D icon for the map display, I get the 2D display and vice versa. Also, if am not navigating - meaning, I havent specifie

The 900 supports only DivX (not even xvid) and I seriously doubt how much you can pack into a CD-R (700 MB). I myself had issues with xvid files and one of the posting on this site solved the problem in most efficient fashion. The poster recommended using a program (i think the name is avicf) to change the header info of the file to make it look like DivX certified.
