  1. This only works with I-pod or I-phone
  2. First calibrate your screen. After that if your responce is slow purchase the 3.0 upgrade for it and that will fix responce time and update your maps.
  3. This has been a problem for many users. It seems that 6 months is the breaking point for many systems. There are many posts on this problem you can search for. Since you have sent your unit out twice and it still is not fixed I would push Pioneer to replace it. As a last ditch send it to a different Pioneer repair office the one you are using seems useless.
  4. Did you ground the e-brake wire?
  5. I am having tha same problem.
  6. No the SLA is a volume adjustment for each mode.
  7. Just check on the MSN direct site and it is $99 for a life time.
  8. You are not using the RCA connections so the preout voltage does not matter. Not sure where the problem is in this case. I think you did right to turn down the out put on the adaptor to get the hiss out but I do not know what the other sound is. Since you do not have a boss system i would bypass the factory amp and use the one on the radio.
  9. If you are going to use the Bose amp you need the GMAH24B adaptor. I used the GMOS-04 on my Corvette but i installed the F900BT in mine. The pre out voltage on the F90BT is to high for the adaptor.
  10. Is your parking brake grounded? Yes, has been for 3 Months
  11. My F900 started rebooting last friday. At first it would get to the source menu and then reboot. Now it just gets a splash screen and reboots. I tried to get it into test mode but that also failed. After a call to Pioneer they emediatly said send it in with no questions asked. I then called the shop they have me sending it to and told them of the problem. The tech told me that it is a known problem and pioneer is working on the cause but still does not know what is causing it. The only fix according to this guy is to replace the main system board.
  12. I had to change mine to 256. Has the previous post said, you will get this error if you set the software bypass to 128 and you go over 79mph. The speed setting is in kph not mph.
  13. I am confused to some degree. I have a F900BT and it works great. The backup camera has a small delay but by the time I have my seatbelt on the camera is on. It is a computer and requires some boot time and this seems to be the root of the complaints. To expect any system to work with every Bluetooth device out there is being unrealistic. As I said what is the problem with this unit?
  14. I am using a 16gb SD card with no problems as well. I do use Itunes but just copied the files from my HDD to the SD card with no issues.
  15. Just wanted to let you all know what I have noticed doing this mod. It does work very well but there is one got ya. If you boot up into test mode again it will reset the memory back to default. I moved the slider to the left a small amount and set up the personal info to come up a bootup. This worked flawlessly and my system boot time decreased alot. I got tired of the personal popup so I booted back into test mode to turn it off and it had been cleared out and memory set back to default. (Remember my pursonal info was comming up untill I booted into test mode) I changed the memory
