WHEW! Unhooked it all, watched a movie stressing, and hooked it all up, now its good and working. Now I also just found out that i have the N2, not the N1 .. LOL.. friend gave me wrong part number. And any chance what the little yellow wire with black stripe goes to?

OUCH!!!! I first hooked up the unit with the green wire unhooked.. powered up screen was on, i was playing with it. decided to ground this wire, and turn on the unit.. it came on, screen came out, and no display blank black screen :(.. what happened??

Well, I have the pink DVD disk update. Could I still do the same thing with the ground? Im thinking if i dont hook up the PCM wire it wont give a speedometer read out, and think im standing still as well?

The wire that your supposed to install to one of the PCM wires is it necessary and if so why?

Hi I heard you can just connect the green wire to the black wire to ground it out and this will bypass the N1 Is this true? Will I still need to solder anything, or whatever?
