1. Ipod drops more also 2. Sometimes when booting when the map loads an error window pops up on the map and then the map wont work at all until after reboot. thats all i got so far ive only had it for 4 days or so and its already dropped ipod to many times to count and the error message 5 or 6 times

im still using 2.0 but i will be using updating to 3.01 in the am when i get off work today so i can see if that would help.. anyway i do sometimes have to take my visor and turn it down but overall it works well and i really only have to do that when i have the window cracked

I've had my f90 for almost a year and it has worked flawlessly without any issues at all. As for the install fee save yourself some money and DIY.., it takes little knowledge just a little research and time. I'm sorry your unhappy with yours but i wouldnt dare call the unit garbage. And i also had to save for over 6 months before i could finally get mine and my f90 still is selling for about 500 on ebay i only paid 600 for mine brand new...didnt mean to offend you just stating the obvious... kenwood would probably suit you well

This is real simple if you dont like it SELL it and go with another brand!!

Hey guys quick question i ordered the update from pioneer will receive it today for my f90. My qustion is my mom just ordered a refurb f700 i was wondering is this update a 1 time deal or can i install on my moms also bc im almost positive this refurb unit wont have 3.0?

its placed on the roof on the pass. rear it wouldnt reach to back on my z71 but i have all sats with good signal and no obstructions. reception isnt the problem

gps signal is great hitting all 8 sat's so that isnt a problem

The 700 does not have DVD playback capability. You can play movies from an iPod I think but that's about it. Should have spent the extra cash and got a f90 or 900 if you wanted to play DVD's

i bought one of those slot music cards with the saving abel cd preloaded on it and i already had a micro to standard sd adapter. i put it in the adapter and it started playing immediatly with no problem. I even added all my splash screen pics i wanted on it so there all already there. it must be something with your card try buying a new one and see it that doesnt fix your problem. james

Update: i tried it out in 2d instead of 3d and worked flawlessly so any ideas as to why its only on 3d that it does this would be great. ps in 3d this morning it had me driving through a lake lol thanks james

Hey everyone ive been lurking around here for a few months once i decided to get the f90bt and finally got mine for christmas and i installed myself last weekend per the silverado install thread here and HW bypass with no problems. So far i have enjoyed the unit after i got a few issues fixed ( HD tuner quit working exchanged and now fine, had to get the apple composite cable, right side audio was out). My biggest aggrivation though that i cannot seem to find anything on and yes i have searched is that my gps is lagging and very innacurate. Example im driving down the road and all of a sudden
