Dyno chart please??!!??

I sent you a pm but how did you increase the music partition? Can you point me in the right direction or do a write up. Any reboots since the install?

Sorry i thought since it was in a different section that different people would see it. Sorry, but I really want to get this working and be done with it. BTW where in the Jersey shore are you from. We used to have a summer house in Chadwick beach and I went to school at Monmouth U. I lived up north in West Milford for most my life but now I am in Cali.

I also see that you called it the ecm vs. ecu. I assume there is a difference. That is probably why I am all jacked up. I was tapping the wire off the ecu. Oooops! So when I can get some light I will try to see if I can find the ecm.

I checked every plug on the ecu and could not find another green with orange wire. Do you know if there is another location to get the signal like behind the gauge cluster? Also my truck is lifted and therefore the signal that my speedo and odo get is off. Will this effect the vss connection to the z1 or does it learn the signal based on the gps speed? Thanks for the responses guys!

It didn't work. I'm guessing that it wasn't the right wire. The head unit read a signal but whenI would come to a stop or press in the clutch the rpms would drop and it would idle very bad and almost stall. I disconnected it and the truck ran fine. Strange. So I still need the right wire for the vss. Thanks.

Ok so I just installed my z1 in my 2000 Toyota Tacoma but I did not hook up the VSS wire just yet since I am unsure what wire to use. Does anyone know the location and color of the wire? According to the "rostra" website that is linked from this forum it is the green/orange wire located in number 8 OR 9 OF 22 PIN CONN.OR POSITION 12 OF 28 PIN CONN.OF ECM. Does this mean that I could use either one? Can someone confirm that this is the right wire? Thanks. BTW this unit kicks A$$!!! It is a newer unit and I grounded the two wires for the bypass. Works great!!!
