Pull the fuse that keeps memory on the avic at your fuse box let it sit for 3-5 minutes and it should work u don't need to unplug the Sirius uni. You see the Avic keeps memory of the issue of the problem but pulling the fuse erases that memory and walla good luck

is there a way to copy these to send out cuz i can open the folders also have media # and password

yes thats correct you lose your onstar communication thats why i did cars that had the mic ready for onstar or people that did not have a onstar account active but have onstar equipment

i've done lots of cars with stock oem mics and yes it works great especially the onstar mics because they have noise cancelation

well got it going again i totally diconnected the battery and let it sit like that for about 10 minutes, reconnected the battery and walla sirius worked again i dunno how but it worked. its funny cuz i disconnected the hu from everything even the antenna and had the same prob. but oh well it works now

sirius stuck on ch. 50 and no sound for sirius but other sources are fine i changed sirius reciever and still nothing anybody have answers

they do make someting called a power tamer my current job is building and modifying police, emergency, and federal vehicles. what this does is once you turn the key on the power tamer is activated and when you turn off the car the timer starts and you can set it from 30 min. to 4 hours. so the output side of the power tamer can hook up to the ignition wire of avic and you cap off the ign. on the car side. you can hook up variuos other after market electronics this device. on the cars i do the power tamer is running our custom fuse panels by turning on and leaving on a 150 amp military grade el
