Does this do anything other than maps? Does it change firmware at all? I bought the last maps from Pioneer, it would be nice if they would offer a discount if you buy annually. At $120 I will buy every other year unless there is a firmware improvement attached.

your post is pretty clear but I am gonna clarify this because I was told differently by an installe.....I have a F90BT in my F-150 now. I had it professionally installed. Now, if I want to upgrade to the x920, I can just pop off the dash cover, remove the four screws holding the unit in and swap head units from the f90BT and put in the x920 and just unplug the wires from the f90 and plug them right back in to the 920? Will my previous harness ground still work with the x920? I'm guessing if all of this works for an upgrade to the x-series, I can just as simply pull off a swap for a

ALOT of times when I crank my car and my F90BT boots up, my iPod doesn't show that it is connected (though it is). I have to disconnect then reconnect and then it will show up everytime. My iPod (a 2 year old nano) has the latest firmware, and my F90 has firmware v.3.02.0100 - which I think is the latest)

I have two F90BT's....I wonder if I can buy one and use it twice? Anybody who's bought one of these before know if it can be done ?

I have the Droid Incredible. I've had other phones before and had no trouble transferring the phone book to the F-Series, they just pretty much did it automatically. With the incredible, it downloaded my Facebook contacts but missed my "primary" list - they weren't included. No sure what I did wrong. Any one else have this issue or other difficulty and have a solution?

I have 3.0 - and I purchased it. I'm asking about 3.02 - or is it the same. If it helps, I have the very first run of 3.0. I'm not sure if that is 3.0, 3.01 or 3.02....

I am a sucker and bought the 'official' update back in July/August and have been running 3.0 ever since. From what I gather 3.02 is downloaded from the X-series website but will work properly on my F90BT running the 'official' 3.0? Others are moving sequentially from 3.0 to 3.01 to 3.02, others have skipped the 3.01 - is this ok to do? Thanks.

I've been off this forum for a few months - but is 3.02 the same as what I bought from Pioneer in July and then was shipped in August? Maybe it was 3.02 but I was thinking it was simply '3.0'. I went to Pioneer's website (specifically for the F90BT) and when I clicked on the update tab:(http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... 90BT?tab=F) , there was only downloadable updates for 2.0, nothing at all for 3.0. 3.0 isn't even mentioned in the firmware changelog! What is 3.02 and/or 3.0202002 (or whatever)? Just tell me I don't have to buy it too!

Oh, I missed that on the first read. I can tell you this: I lost one of my cards (I have two) but was able to install to both of my cars using the same SD cards. I just needed a different password for each install. Luckily the password was the one thing I did not lose. If there is someone you could borrow an install card from, and IF you still have your passwords provided by Pioneer, if should reinstall.

Do you have a copy of your foriginal flash? Can you not just replace Draftia's with the orignal and fix your problems? Or is there something that is preventing that from fixing it?

The X-series don't really seem to be significantly different from the F's, that includes stability. I'd go for the newwer (x) series ONLY if the price is close.

They sure do... they have been shrunk so that they do not overlap anything on the screen but they are there as normal. My next release will have a toggle to turn them off for the people that do not want them. diaftia: Do the freeway exit signs that were added in 3.0 still show on your mod? I've been through every pic and didn't see them and a seasch for 'signs' didn't pull up much useful. Thanks - it looks great!!
