  1. I had to replace my black wire harness with a Metra PRo1-80B. Had a bad ground on the old one. Before everything worked great. Now, no back up camera and no DVD.Tried switching polarity, etc. When I put in a DVD it gives me the "no viewing from the front seat" warning. There are a few wiring changes from the old to the new. The new is missing the blue, purple/white.The new has a blue/white where the old purple/white was. No biggie there.Refresh my memory on the proper wiring for the DVD by pass and the back up camera wire. I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma. I remeber , I believe, tapping into the re
  2. I have sent the D3 back to Pioneer 3 times thinking there was a hardware issue. While they replaced the optical drive, and some other parts I still have the rebooting issue. I am beginning to think it is a problem with the NAV disc. The new optical drive appears to be scratching the disc. I am going to re check my mute wire and make sure it is in the correct pin position. I have spoken to Pioneer several times with this issue and they have never said anything about a software/firmware upgrade unless they did it while the D3 was in for one of it's 3 repair visits. I will keep yo informed about
  3. Are you having an issue with the D3? If so/not, does the unit you have "reboot/restart" every 1-5 mins. or so? I am having a problem with a D3 that has been working fine for about 3-5 months. All of a sudden it has been rebooting/restarting on it's own every 2-5 mins. I spoke with Pioneer and they said that the function that allows the user to input NAV info. while driving is causing the problem. Even though the unit has been working fine for 3-5 months, they said the D3 has "learned/figured out" what is happening and it will not allow me to input NAV info. any longer.Weird thing is, this all
  4. I bought a used D3 aprox. 3 months ago. Has been working fine. Until, about a week ago it starts resetting on it's own. It will be playing fine. Then it will almost loose power and reboot. It also will through up a DVD ROM problem error.I spoke to Pioneer and they said it might be a problem with the install and the unit has "learned" that I am trying to use the NAV system while driving. I am just wondering if there could be a problem with the emergency brake wiring or something like that.Any ideas?
  5. I bought a D3 secondhand and it did not come with the RED EAST DVD. Where can I get the DVD short of Pioneer? I have seen them on Ebay, but I want to make sure I get the corerect one. I guess I will also have to get the 2008 GREEN upgrade DVD.Any suggestions? I am also having an issue with the wire harness. When I installed the unit, I noticed that I have no memory for the presets or last channel, etc. when I power down and back up. I called around and apparently I must have the wrong wire harness, mine has no yellow wire for constant HOT.I have looked once agin on Ebay and they have the 16 p
