Yep that's the update that was released last year as a free update for users on V14 maps. The map update was about 1 year out of date even before release, but it did activate SUNA (traffic). I've got mine hacked to use updated maps R16.1 or R17 I think, can't remember. My unit it still working fine after 2 years. 34by151 was working on an update to the system. Not sure if he still is, I haven't heard from him for a while. Beluga, do you use WinRAR? I highlight both files then right click and select "extract to V3Update03" with WinRAR. I don't get any messages asking to overwrite files. The final extracted folder size is 274Mb, 79 Files & 19 Folders.

Done. In regards to the terrain is that the dem file? It was tiny in the R17 release. I just kept the bigger one that you provided with R16.1 from memory.

IDT, no offence meant mate. PM'd ya and posted up an explaination/apology is the thread concerned. Just bad wording and a lack of explaination. I am using an older mod of yours, and to be honest I didn't like the angle of the 3d view with the sky, or the fact that it tracks automatically to 2d when in 3d mode. As I said I hadn't looking into fixing this apart from checking settings and fiddling a bit and it's all personal preference in the end. What I like isn't what the next fella is going to like. Your mods are loved by many and make a big difference to the stock product. I hope

Got mine in the post today! Woohoo, just upgrading now... Thanks JM1065 for the link. The Aussie one doesn't work and I don't know why they bothered posting it there. Just use the link provided above everyone. Also from my observations SD1 upgrades the unit to 2.1000 probably to give a fresh install to then upgrade with SD2 to 3.02010 and installs maps version 02.000400. All working smoothly and the new beeps are soooo much better, they fixed a problem I was having with ipod music/video buttons too by the look of it. Now to find a similar data.zip to GTIMatt's. Any ideas anyon

According to this thread viewtopic.php?f=32&t=29141 they had the same problem and Pioneer Aus told them to activate using the Euro website. Might be worth a try. Typical Pioneer Australia. They are about as useful as a chocolate teapot!

I just phoned Pioneer and was told that they are "hopefully" expecting another shipment and that I should receive the update by end of next week. I'm just going to keep phoning because it's really starting to annoy me that they are taking so long.
