Leet Launcher works with 3.01 firmware in the Fseries units. iGO 8.3 does not work as of yet. We are still waiting for a hacked version of the easyrider program. Once we have that, upgrade to iGO 8.3 and the newer maps will be possible. R/V2A2

Starting with the 2.06 mod installed on my F700BT: 1. Upgraded WinCE to the WinCE image contained in the Pioneer 3.01 update. 2. Reset the unit and loaded the flashdisk from the X910 flashdisk image on the Turboboss FTP site. 3. Rebooted the unit with the 3.01 update in the SD slot and applied the Pioneer 3.01 update with no hitch what so ever. I have been running 3.01 from the day the X910 image was first placed on Tuboboss FTP site. I have had zero issues.

I was an early modder to 3.01, as I am very familiar with Windows/WinCE/WinMobile. I essentially followed performed the the procedure in this thread ( viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25817 ) before someone was so nice as to put it in a nice, easy to read format with pics. The 3.01 modifications to my F700BT resulted in a huge improvement in overall unit performance. My modded 2.0 unit would reboot by itself at least two to three times a week. Your unit is not dead if it is still booting. Follow this procedure and you will restore your system to with the new 3.0 firmware: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25817 If you don't wish to use 3.0 upgrades, let us know and we will walk you through restoring the unit to 2.0

The antenna connections in the Audi, VW and BMW are all twin, powered connections. There are two antenna groups in all of these vehicles (usually a roof and rear/rear side glass). Experience after owning 2 VWs and a BMW is that reception is considerably degraded with most aftermakret adapters. Please let us know your experience with that adapter, and maybe, just maybe the radio function of aftermarket radios might be useful.

Thanks much for posting the torrent .... the FTP host is a good place to start, but it is quckly overwhelmed. Remeber ......... even after you are complete with your download, continue to seed for your community.

....funny, as I did not think we were "the average consumer." For those people there are two options: 1. Return the unit if they are unhappy with it. 2. Wait for the pushbutton updates from Pioneer. ....Meanwhile, this community will continue to forge ahead and show the great people at M$ and Pioneer the "art of the possible."

After running the 2.0006 for the last 48 hours: 1. Automated GPS timezone fix is still not working 2. XM lables are nice, but not worth the time it takes to update Stick with your modded 2.0 until 3.0 is released.

I just spent the better part of 15 minutes thumbing thru the file directory looking for the "navigatemap_800_480.ui" file. Can anyone give a quick hint where the file is located?
