I was just curious is all I didn't realize my older N1 had an onboard CDDB, that answers my question. Oh also I do have all of my media on my ipod but I do still buy the physical media.
-
Old post but hoping someone has an answer to this, I have the same problem. Surely the itsie bitsie track number is not all that can be displayed when listening to a CD? I know me and the OP are a dying breed that still buy physical CD's and prefer uncompressed music...surely this unit can display more than a crappy track number.

If you are close to Katy TX we can meet up and I can let you use mine.

sirius XM a la carte
Razorback_Fan replied to swahba's topic in XM/Sirius/HD Radio and Traffic Receivers
Hmmmm I let my sirius subscription expire since I did not have my N1 installed. I'm wondering if I should get the XM receiver with the better interface and just add the sirius channels I like. Does anyone have any screen shots of the N1 running sirius channels through the XM receiver? I'm curious if the xm receiver improves the interface look with sirius channels. -
Has anyone attempted to install this unit? I'm about to give it a shot and was looking for any advice or tips. I'm really unsure where the VSS wire is loacated so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello- Kind of new to all this. Can someone point me to a step by step on how to install a rear screen to my N1? I would like to have a rear screen for the kiddos when we go on long trips. Also can anyone recommend a screen? TIA!!!!

Does anyone have this setup? I got a killer deal on a IHF and was wondering if I could use it with the N1?
-
Ok so this doesn't have a case that it slids into, where you can simply release it from the case and slid the unit out? It is currently installed in a 99 jeep cherokee.
-
I was afraid that would be the case. How hard is it to remove the unit from the dash so I can send it in for repair?
-
OK I've been reading up on previous post and I believe my ribbon cable has broke and needs replacing. However since i'm short on cash at the moment I was wondering if there is a way to pull the screen out manually without tearing up anything? I plan on going on pretty good drive next week and could really use the nav screen. Any ideas?

Has anyone bought the S2? If so I'll ask teh same question would you buy it again?
-
SO for those of you that have the S1 would you buy it again if not why if so please give details of what you like. I'm currently looking into a portable model and I can tell you that there is allot of competition in this market.
