My AVIC-130BT upgraded to SW 5.0 has no text to speech (street name announcement in NAV) and missing the advanced sound retriever option for MP3 playback. Is it normal or am I missing something? Coming from a AVIC-Z3 I really miss the dual-map mode. Thanks, M.

I have a Dell too. All I have to do is to plug the drive to an IDE cable by itself and it works. Of cource you have to change the settings in the BIOS.

If you don't disable the security of your new drive, it will be locked as soon as you insert it in the Z and power the unit up.
