Can someone please clearify where to find and how to edit the roadsigns on highway navigation? Standard scheme all signs are dark green, but that is not how they look in (W) Europe. Did a whole bunch of searching and looking in the ini files my self, without any succes so far. thanks

Well found a combo. It might help others. I took another ezrider and license file from the 2009 maps topic and also I removed the mapsdb file from apl2 igo content and it loaded without problems. no clue if it was one of the files or de db file to be removed, but it works. After 2 days of madness, so frankly I don't care what did the trick, it works for me!!!

this is driving me mad!!! is there any way to get EU maps working on a US 700BT? I tried 3 types of maps by now (all 8.3 for 3.0 update) several ezrider and license files, and all possible combinations. Even with the standard basemap and just Netherlands loaded, I can get no further then seeing Hungary in my country screen, but still unable to choose. Please can someone clearify how EU maps work on a 3.0 US 700BT?

I'm searching like crazy, but some threads are so long, one cannot find the info he's looking for. Anyway. I need to check my back ups some where if I still have my modded data file. probably not. maybe this would be a good moment to upgrade to 3.0 That's possible right?

Hopefully someone can help me out here. I have a US model 700BT that I use in Europe. Little over a year ago I did some modding in my nav screens, settings, etc, and downloaded the EU maps and loaded them, including other voices etc. Today I updated to 2.0008 (?) and gone are my maps and mods.... Are they trashed? are they overwritten? are they still on there? now what!?

Updated the software to .113 yesterday. All is as bad as before with the sound

On the other end all is fine, on my end heavily overmodulated sound. Cannot be adjusted. Also lowering the volume does not improve quality.

Have you installed the base map and European map too?

sorry... can;t help here. Just wondering if you checked for the extra button on the AV settings screen? There should be a button there making .100 increments happen. Also... why did you change back to US firmware if all remained the same?
