  1. However, the process is different than the f700 series. You need a testmode 2.3 version ( i found mine by searching a member named carver 's posts ), but just changing the speed file is not working for me
  2. I used to have a f700 and did a bunch of mods, my first being the speed sensor raise to allow constant video playing ability. However, I put the x710 in for my cousin and have been unable to get it to work so far. You need a newer testmode file to boot into windows, but when you change the speed sensor value it does not boot correctly. I am looking to find a way to do this so I hope someone can shed some light
  3. Hey I didnt read thru this entire thread so I dont know if its been said already, but I asked my parents, who both have programming degrees and they told me that the top number possible in an 8 bit system is 255, not 256. I just tried this in the hack and went 60 miles an hour with no messages and all features availiable so I guess that they are right. I hope this is helpful, since I know I didnt want to have a top speed of around 80MPH ~RossGo
