So 16 files x 2 hours minimum per file - 30 hours is "not that bad"? Just make a damn torrent for it. It would take 1 hour to download the whole thing.

the Sky is a mod, not included with the Navi update. It's in IDT's mod.

I had some odd behavior this morning on the ride in to work with 3.1. all was fine until I got on the highway, and then as soon as the first Highway Sign for teh next exit showed up, the map automatically switched to 2D view. and even cycling through with the 3D/2D/2Dn button, I couldn't get 3d mode back until I exited the highway. but - I did forget to flush the user data files before I went from IDT v3.0 to v3.1. I flushed them before I got out of the car when I got to work, but that was int he garage with no GPS signal. Any idea why it would do that, and should I expect it to keep

Unless I'm mistaken, there is absolutely no difference between the "Official" 3.0 update people have bought, and the "hacked" version, other than where it came from. The files are identical. It's not actually "hacked" it's just a copy of the exact same official update.

will correcting it fix the problem of the "No Left/right Turn" road signs displaying at the wrong time?

I agree, it would be awesome to be able to access an internet browser from the AVIC UI without having to boot into testmode! even if just to check weather and traffic in live realtime, this would be great.

I agree with this. They are kind of retardedly huge.

Two things: Highway signs are Green in the US, that's why the are green. If you want to see the time even when the Highway signs display, edit the location of the clock in navigatemap800_400.ui in the data.zip file. It's just the x and y coordinates. Not really a big deal. I just move mine down a bit to about 275 which puts it below teh other buttons and the highway signs.

I installed the v1 IDT 3.0 a few days ago and it works great. I don't know why I couldn't get the speed limit signs working in my own data.zip, but it works fine from yours. might be a layer issue. thanks again.

OK, sounds good. Looking forward to it. I've been fighting with taht one for a while, I'm glad someone figured it out.
