it's getting almost impossible to get any file around here... my f700bt keeps rebooting, so I thought, alright, why not updating it since I last updated it with 3.1x (from what I recall), and newer maps are long overdue... well... almost everyfil I try to download doesn't exist anymore. found my old file via torrent, and have it now, but why not upgrade!? anyone? a simple easy to use file would be greatly appreciated, with newest maps! willing to pay if no good samaritan pops up otherwise, is the pioneer OEM upgrade worth it? I love having my hacked unit as changing destinations

still looking, need the latest with the hacks right. maybe we should make this thread into a clean one? not a seven page thread with stuff from 2009?

Title pretty much says it all, I already know how to do the upgrades, etc. I have the handbrake hack on wire and the speed on software. anyone? anywhere to look? tried torrent sites, saw a few software, but remember here a while back that some of them were useless... where to look at least? thanks guys!

Worked flawless! what I would suggest is to delete everything in the flash disk in the windows ce part, BEFORE you copy your files, delete every file. after that, don,t copy the folder my flash disk, copy the files in that folder to the flash disk of the radio.

so I was looking for exactly what you guys are talking about! except all I want is the gauges, no fancy controlled retune programs instead of buying 3-4 gauges to know what is happening, I could just pop the gauge up on my unit, it would be awsome and I could save a lot of $$$!!! the ecu can tell you how much gas is left, how much you are consuming etc... I wanted to buy a cluster which had that option (without the gauge boost, air/fuel, oil, etc...) in europe for tdi's but it looks like a pain in the A$$ to wire and get to function properly, without even counting the fact that

easy, I have found a software called ultimate video converter if my memory serves me well, it has every possible conversion and you can put the videos in 640x480 formats but as for the size, do not worry, the unit will automatically re-scale the format the unit reads well is mp4

It would be an awsome option! still have the 2.0 update, so I guess I am in the clear compared with the 3.0 which I think is unhackable?? anyway, waiting for replies from the tech gurus here!

It's been a while since i came here and just wanted to know if there was a new version as some new streets are not on my current maps... I have a f700bt with versio 2.0 and the unit works PERFECTLY! for some reason, my load time is not nearly as slow as my friend's f700bt, it load in less than 3 seconds, other than that, all my hacks work well etc... I never have any issue with it, movies load super fast on the sd card (not so much on usb though...) but can only read avi for now... at least I think... anyway won't support mp4's etc.. but no biggie I have looked and read and from

nm, found it, it was on hack's faqs... when i go into testmode though, I can change wtv I need from there? or do I need the new data.zip file?

either I'm blind or I do not have the same FAQs as you do! this is the first question I have when I go to ther FAQs "Q. I just installed my F-Series and the phone and navigation menus are gray and not selectable " how does that help me? is there another faqs section?

basic 100$ radio's have this feature, where you can see what is playing on the radio, for example, if you got some song from foo fighters on the radio it will scrool saying mix 96, foo fighters, xsong, album, year, wtv info! how come this huge unit doesn't have that feature?

that's 17 pages! I'm sure someone could get the right info pretty fast on this thread, since I am pretty sure a lot of ppl would be interested in knowing! from what I understand after reading much of it, is that the fastest way to do it is to do the 16 steps??? doesn't seem fast or simple at all!!!
