  1. Welcome to Bluetooth Audio streaming! Its a problem with bluetooth. Remember that bluetooth is a wireless signal, and although much better than others, is still prone to interference and cutting out. I inform all my clients ahead of time that while bluetooth is nice and convenient, its not the best for quality and transfer. There is nothing wrong with your units, just realize the limitations of a wireless signal.
  2. Iheart is useless for me. It doesn't resize and looks zoomed in too much. Waze is working ok. Motion x doesn't work at all. It won't resize or display info. Media player works fine, but is the cheapest, crappiest design ever in my opinion. Nav free doesn't work and I think that was the app pioneer claimed was holding up the release. I haven't tried other apps, but am so far very unimpressed.
  3. The resizing isn't working correctly on a few apps I've noticed already. Waze scrunches everything down, almost like a widescreen format. CAr media player has a menu bar on the bottom that's halfway cut off.
  4. Firmware is up!!!! I'm downloading it now!
  5. If you had Best Buy do the original installation, I would recommend taking it back and having them install the correct cable for you. The main reason is we offer a lifetime workmanship warranty on product we install, provided no other work takes place other than by a Best Buy. If you pull the deck out and change or add cables, and then it stops working on you, Best Buy isn't going to be responsible since you changed the work they did.
  6. I work for Best Buy and we will NOT bypass the units. It is against our policy because it is illegal. Also based on some of the questions and comments posted on here I wouldn't want the majority of those peaople able to watch video while driving. The p brake connection however has nothing to do with ipod control for music.
  7. Probably not, as video from Android devices go through HDMI. The X950 and Z150 both have HDMI inputs so Android can be used. Pick up one of those if you want Android app support.
  8. Where did you mount the GPS antenna?
  9. The reason the top 2 links do not work for these units is that they are already clearly labeled for other models. The first link is for the "F" series. You have the "X" series. There really shouldn't be a reason for the mods to change anything. Simple reading gives you the answer.
  10. http://avic411.com/i...-x850bt-bypass/ If you did it this way, and you have issues, you have done something wrong. This bypass works.
  11. There is no "hot" wire on the parking brake switch. The switch uses a ground signal.
  12. The yellow 12v constant is the main supply wire. The red wire is simply a turn on wire. There are many things you can look at to arrive to this conclusion; 1. The fuse on the stereo itself(normally 10a and located on the back of the radio) is for the constant source. If this 10amp fuse blows all memory settings are lost, proving that the main fuse on the unit comes from constant power. 2. The constant wires on aftermarket decks are usually thicker(albeit not much) than the switched wire. If the switched wire provided the power for the amp it would be larger gauge wire. 3. Loo

    z150 Nav?

Not sure on the 150, but the bypass listed for the 850 and 950 works well. If the connector is the same, I would say its worth a shot. http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/36184-avic-x850bt-bypass/
