When I shut off my car and pull the key the N3 screen retracts back into the unit. I have two questions. 1. If this happens everytime I get in and out of the car, is there a danger of this thinig wearing itself out within a year? 2. Is there a setting somewhere to tell it to stay open until I hit the close button? I haven't been able to find it, if there is. Thanks.

Ok I have a stupid question, but I am installing my own AVIC-N3. When you say I need to ground the parking brake, do you mean connecting the Light Green wire from the display unit to the ground wire of the parking brake, using the wire tap(clamp) instead of connecting it to the power supply side of the parking brake? I want to make sure I do this correctly. Thanks! xt07t
