  1. Diaftia, Great mod! I love the interface. The look is so clean. I have one question for you. How do you turn on the speeding warning voice? I originally had it on, but now I can't figure out how to turn it on with your mod. I have played with all the controls in the warning settings tab, but no luck. I saw a mute settings, but couldn't figure out if the problem was in here. I did the the traffic light warning sound to work (i guess) after I turned off the default mute button. Any suggestions? f90bt US -trrocks
  2. I thought there was a difference in modding. Is it true you cannot mod the x-series?
  3. Well I got the dang thing to work. The cycling through of presets was due to a faulty connection I believe. I rewired it all and now it works great.
  4. I am having probles with this IR receiver. I hooked it all up, but when it is plugged in it will just cycle through the presets continuously. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how do you fix it? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks
  5. One I created using some of the images on here. For you scion folks.
  6. Great find! Too bad it is running out, but it is probably worth it if you get it soon. $15 a year basically. That aint bad at all.
  7. Hey guys, So I just installed all the necessary components to have TV with the 90bt. As some other member have posted, I do not get good reception while driving. The reception is average when sitting still. I got the RCA brand converter box, the RCA $30 amplified flat antenna, and a black&decker 200 watt inverter/converter. It is all wired into the car under the seats, with the antenna in the trunk. Some people have said the reception is going to be bad while driving, due to the digital format of the signal. I was just thinking it was the antenna, but you have a point. I ha
  8. Update #2: I tried resetting the unit, and it worked! The first time that is. After the first time it still forgot I have an ipod. : ( I will try updating my ipod next.
  9. Well, that is good that it is turning off when I turn off my car. I am using a 5th gen 80gb ipod. (its black too, does that matter? ) Anyway, that is strange it happened to you on occation, and I will try to reset the whole unit. Thanks for the welcome! This is a good point also. I haven't plugged my ipod into my computer in a long time. This is because I used it with my old car stereo as well. It is basically a database of music I leave in my car. I will try this also. I was hoping this problem was just a setting issue, or maybe a data.zip file fix, but I gues
  10. Update: The ipod does remember where I left off, but it still won't register in the stereo until I unplug and plug back in. Quite annoying. Any help?
  11. Sorry for the hopefully dumb question, but why does my iPod turn off every time I turn off the car? I have to replug the ipod back in for it to even recognize the ipod when I turn the car back on. It just starts off in "Off" mode whenever the car is turned back on. So since those sentances kind of sound like rambling, here is what is happening. I am listening to my iPod. I arrive at my destination. I turn off my car. I leave my car. (xx mins later) I return to my car. I turn my car on. I wait for the normal boot up. I look at the stereo, and nothing is playing, it sa
  12. Thanks allot Mav for putting this together. It has saved me time and effort. Basically, I continue to be lazy.
  13. This is definately something I plan on doing. It would be nice to have local channels. Some examples of times I am going to look forward to: 1) Leaving a game and being stuck in traffic, my buddies can watch either other games or highlights. 2) Tailgating 3) Driving home and trying to find out where the storm is, but the crappy radio won't tell me. Pretty excited. So good thread!
  14. You really need to read the FAQ. This has been covered countless times. In case your eyes are playing tricks on you, it's the FIRST topic. Also if your eyes are playing tricks on you you should not even be attempting to get into the files and altering the codes. I have read this. Countless times actually. However, I still do not know where to go from there. It has steps "dot 1" to "dot 4", which only describe how to get into testmode. It does not say what do to after that. I don't even know what testmode is. I have a great deal of experience in programming, but not Pioneer headunits, th
