  1. Hi Guys, Writing regarding the common problem of X930BT navigation with playing Padora using iOS 5 and higher. I upgraded firmware to v3.001 and still cant normally playback pandora on the navigation. Open I press "Pandora" source it does not show any content and music does not play. Do you guys still have the problem? Does the firmware update help with this issue for you? Thank you, Ruben
  2. I've got that camera (chromed one) one with X930 unit. Works perfectly. Didn't use the boyo frame as my original license plate frame is also chromed and nicely matches with camera.
  3. I've got the same thing. They did a bypass but did not connect VSS (property) even though I insisted on that. I've also used to purchase and provided a module that would pull out VSS signal from CAN-BUS interface and that helped a lot. Once connected properly I did not see any problems. It works flawlessly!
  4. Actually, They specialize in audio equipment installation. Will need to take it back to them. It could be either they did not connect correct VSS wire, or the CAN-BUS module that pulls out VSS signal does not function properly...
  5. Hi everybody, Recently got my X930BT installed in a body shop, very happy with it, but of course nothing in this world goes 100% smooth. So I asked those guys to do the bypass, and also specifically insisted on having VSS wire connected. However, when i look to connectivity menu(that's awesome pioneer made it available for users) I always see my speed pulse set to 0 (even when the vehicle in motion). So, i'm not thinking if this is expected and after doing the bypass it makes the unit think that it is not in the motion and does not pull out/display speed sensor information? Or it i

  7. Go for BOYOs. You can get it for $100 from ebay. Those cameras are awesome! 175 wide angle. They got plenty of models. I personally got Boyo VTL405. Check out the pics:
  8. Yeah, now I understand. Thank you for clarification. Will tell the installer to not to connect camera to reverse tail lights.
  9. I need same VSS wire on SLK 350. By any change did you find it out? I know it is available on CAN-BUS interface, but would prefer to tap into a wire and don't buy additional CAN-BUS module.
  10. Have almost same configuration. Except for instead of Z120BT got X930BT. Installation is still pending. Regarding Problem 2 I as much as I know it is expected. None of aftermarket radios will display anything on the MFD. How do you like the steering wheel modules? Are they responsive? How long does it take to seek next track, control volume? I got another question. Did you install the head unit by yourself? Were there any roadblock while installing?
  11. Actually the main trouble is obtaining those wires. Its not always straightforward to do that (I used to do if for my old honda). Just I used to see some Dietz CAN BUS adapters that pull out ignition, vss and reverse signal, and when buying PAC module I thought that it might have that capability as well...
  12. Are you familiar with this camera? Is there a change to have it installed incorrectly? As far as I know it has just a RCA cable for audio out, and external power input cable.
  13. I assume you didn't utilize CAN BUS interface. I've got SLK 350 and dont want to ruin the car tapping wires left and right. Hope PAC module will feed the car speed information through wired remote input.
  14. That sounds promising. Well, actually i did bypass on my old F-90BT and that worked flawlessly. Regarding wires. I'm planning to do steering wheel integration and got control modules from PAC - SWI-CAN2 and SWI-PS. Those modules have 1/8" jack that is supposed to transmit speed, reverse gear and break signals from vehicle CAN BUS interface to head unit. Do any of you guys have experience with this kind of setup? I assume that with 1/8" jack connected I do not need to tap into VSS and reverse wires, right? How about mute wire, should it still get connected?
  15. How would I turn on rear view when driving forward? Is there a special item in sources list? Regarding 1st questions. There is a rear view monitor output right? Will the rear camera view get transmitted through that cable? If yes i guess i might get some external a/v recorder...
