There's got to be other programs that do it. I don't understand why any program won't do it that has the capability to burn DVDs. Anyone?

Is that a free download? Link?

I'm having a similar problem. I have read through the instructions numerous times and every time I get the "Please Insert Appropriate Disc" message, even after a reset. I'm using Memorex dual layer DVD+R and I've tried burning the disc using Windows and Roxio. I was going to try Nero but I didn't see a DVD option, just CD. Any suggestions? I'm tired of wasting dual layer DVDs...

I finally got it to work using the DVD decrypter to write the DVD. Works like a charm.

I've had no success trying to burn a D2 disc with custom background images. I bought some dual layer DVDs to try and burn the disc without having to delete any POI files, but that didn't work either. I don't understand why mine won't work. I've tried everything I can think of. The very first disc I burned was successful but the pics were pixelated. I have been trying to use Roxio, could that be the problem? I thought I read not to use Windows. I have decrypted the original disc many times and made new PIM files, too. What else can I try? I'm tired of wasting DVDs.

I've been trying to burn a new map disc for my D2 w/ custom backgrounds. The first disc I burned was a success, however the pics I added were not as clear as I would've liked, they were actually very pixelated, so I downloaded the Java Converter from jefbarn and tried again, multiple times. I keep getting the "Please insert appropriate disc" error. The ISO file is the same size as the first disc that worked, and I have even tried creating an ISO from the first successful disc and going from there, but still have not had any success. I have tried DVD-R and DVD+R, with most attempts being

Ok, I need some suggestions. I successfully made a new map disc last night, however my images appear pretty pixelated. I am going to try and burn another disc tonight using a different PIM creator and see if that solves the problem. Any other suggestions? Is there a limit to how many colors can be displayed? All the pictures I used were at one time high res. pics? Thanks!

So, newb question...but my understanding is that the reverse wire is in the driver's side kick panel and it's light green or orange? I am installing my D2 Monday...just trying to make sure all of my questions are answered before then.

I am installing my D2 next week in my 2004 350Z. Can I wire the unit straight up with the bypass, or do I need to install it correctly first, and then go back and do the bypass? Thanks!

Any suggestions for a good, free ISO editor? I've got my image in .PIM format, and I downloaded UltraISO. Unfortunately, the trial version wouldn't save a file that big. Anyone got suggestions for another program to try? Thanks!
