  2. hey yall! So here's my question: How do you delete music that's been copied to the library of the Z1? follow up question: Does the Z1 have to automatically rip the music from every CD you put in? or is there a function to have you manually command it to copy music to your library? thanks in advance
  3. Nice thorough Post dude.... The only thing I see that the Scion's got going on is the Cover up for the Nav unit!! That's by far the best feature of that ride!!!!
  4. In that same "hardware" Screen, you will see one option called "Speed Pulse" The Speed Pulse number will increase as you are driving.. That is how you know if VSS is hooked up

    Phone Dump

In the Sticky at the top of this section "Phones tested for the Z1" reads this: T-Mobile Samsung T809 - Tranfer Contacts: Full transfer - Calling: Fully Functional How do I execute the "full transfer"? does it have something to do with the "read bus card" option?

    Phone Dump

How do you "Dump" all of your phone contacts onto the Z1? MY phone is fully compatable to do this and my bluetooth and everything else functions perfetly right now... Samsung T-809 Thanks in advance yall
  7. here's the deal guys... Lets assume you have loaded in Pioneers Bluetooth update CD... You will recieve an "echo" if your microphone picks up it's own sounds. It's called feedback. An although it won't ring like the Jimi Hendrix feedback you're thinking of, IT WILL take a fraction of a second for the sound to be projected and picked back up by the microphone for your friend to hear. That is the echo. So A solution to help with that is to have the microphone facing away from the speakers. Point it towards to center of the car. Also, keep your volume at an adequate level, if it's too lo
  8. okay guys, lets give pj818 a break.... We're not his mom or dad and we don't need to be preaching to him our personal values or the "state laws". To anyone of you who is going to try and say they've never speeded, "SCREW YOU!" you know you have.... He was simply raising an idea that "could" be cool on a future AVIC unit and we should put in our input on THAT idea... So if you think having a "radar alert" type of system in the AVIC would encourage speeding, than just say so... You don't need to bash a dude for going 10 over... As a matter of fact I'd like to take the time to say there should ma
  9. actually I'm happiest with my Z1.... I hope you're marriages work out better than the majority of them. 54% end in failure... I'm a poker player so I play by the odds... fuck that shit
  10. that sucks that you guys are all married to women that you complain about... Pioneer accidentally put an extra zero, it's $2,200
  11. I'm talking about standard AM/FM radio... Absolutely nothing comes through besides static.... What could I be missing? Obviously the Z1's radio should be functional, right? I wonder what I have wrong? any possibilities?
  12. We've all seen posts on people complaining about the reception of their Z1's. I AM NOW IN THE SAME BOAT!! Does anyone have any ideas or advice on what could be going on? I literally have zero reception. Not one channel will come in. And YES, i have my antenna wire hooked up.. IS there an option I'm missing somewhere or anything I need to do to make it work? I drive an 06 WRX which had fine reception before. Any help would be much appreciated guys, Thanks
  13. Right, the student driver vehicle.... I bet the Nav units in those are symetrical..... hahahahaha this thread got outta conrol
