  1. I cant find the mute menu. The only time it mutes is when I'm getting a call. I don't know if this makes any difference but my car broke down and chrysler had it towed to the jeep dealer and they had disconnected my viper alarm system under the dash. The shop reconnected it back that day but could they have missed a wire under the dash? And I see dynamic volume while going through the menus on the nav screen does that have to be set a certain way. Its stage because I think it would automatically lower the radio when giving a voice direction.
  2. I think someone is wrong with my Avic f90bt. If I'm playing my xm or have my ipod hooked up and using the GPS when the text to speech comes on it doesn't lower the music. Isn't it suppose to lower the music when giving GPS directions. If I remember right I think it was doing that but recently I've been realizing it's not lowing the voice. Is there a way to fix this. Is there a settings I can go to fix this... I'm really not sure what to do.
  3. It's definitely is not the cable because I try my ipod classic and the videos showed up fine like before. Soon as the 4.2 jailbreak comes out I'll restore my phone then check to see if it work. Hopefully it work with the jailbreak.
  4. I have an iphone 3gs and a F series f90bt. Before I jailbreak my phone I was able to view videos stored on my iphone along with youtube videos on the avic. But after I jailbreak my phone I can no longer watch videos through the unit just the sound comes out. My question to those who jailbreak their phones are you experiencing the same problems.
  5. Ok, I have the avicf90bt legit 3.0 and a apple composite cable as connection. I have an Iphone 3gs and it works flawless with the avic just no problems at all since I got the apple cable. However, I just got an ipod classic 160 gb and when I plug it up it works but if I try to change through the songs the avic just cuts it off and basically doesn't recognize it at all. The only way to get it back on is to plug the cable out then put it back into the ipod. I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem and is there a fix. Again, the iphone works perfectly changing songs videos and all but on
  6. I was on the 5 month for $20 promo and it ended in december so I called to close my account and was given another 4 months until april. In april I will call again to close the account and if I don't get anything else to keep me I will close the account and call back within a couple days to use that comeback coupon again.
  7. stop beating around the bush and just tell how you were scammed. You paid for the bt900 and u got a picture of it instead?
  8. i've had MSN Direct for going on 4 months now I think I have will have it for 9 months for $19 and tell you the truth it's a piece of crap. The movie times are from a 20 miles away. My gosh I live in NYC and it cant find my local movie theater. It has no local news, no local traffic info, no gas price info a compete ripoff. Worst $19 I've ever spent before.
  9. It's the cable.. I had no right channel sound on my iphone and I just replaced the cable with the apple one and everything is perfect.
  10. Just want to say I as having the same problem.. the ipod classic, touch and iphone no sound from right speakers. I gave up an got the apple $50 cable and itstalled and everything is working perfectly right now so it was indeed the pioneer cable.

    Aux input?

Yea, it is the cable for sure.. soon as I updated to 3.0 I started getting that "accessory wasn't made for this device". keeping with the subject of this thread.. I used the a/v cable today and plugged in my iphone then switch the audio settings for a/v 2 to video and it worked perfectly.

    Aux input?

You should check the rca connections, and the way the conductors are seated in the white multi connector going into the back of the unit. One of my iPhone channels was out due to one of the conductors not being seated correctly. I assume it came loose during the removal of the Avic pulling on it. Thanks for the suggestion: With that in mind I just went to my car and as a backup took an aux cable I use for the stereo. The installers used electrical tape to keep the connectors togather so they were pretty secure. I plugged up the iphone and white had sound but none from red. I then swiched th

    Aux input?

strange I was thinking about that same Aux input plug because I was planning to use that to play my iphone instead of the pioneer cable as I'm only gettingt sound from one side. Anyway, after reading the manual it states "This is the “AV2” input terminal. Use the CD-RM10 (sold separately) to connect the external video component."
  14. Go into navi settings then go into display settings and change the value.
