  1. hmmm im having this problem, ill give this a whirl. Thanks for taking the time to make up and compile these instructions!
  2. Wow that is an awesome install. Love the sub placement. Try and switch around the ip-bus cable on the xm box, it needs to be plugged into the one marked 'out'. If this does not work, it must be a setting on your deck.
  3. does this include a map update as well? My new house that was built in 2007 doesnt even show up, it drives me crazy.
  4. Looks like it might... I would try it but i dont know where to put the "branding" zip file. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on this subject will chime in
  5. If you do one with this picture of my car i would greatly appreciate it. I was hesitant on modding my f700, but your awesome work makes me want to hack away at my main screen. lol. Take your time.
  6. if you did go the backup camera way , you would have to figure out something with the warning message.

was the dic in the radio or the dash? casue if it is in the dash, you need to get a GM-LAN harness to get it going again, but if it was in the radio, you need to get some sort of external DIC display.
  8. you should take it out and see if the wire is pinched anywhere
  9. bought mine from a local car / home audio store. Its a little more expensive, but i got a 4 year warranty!
  10. So i currently have my external xm tuner (Pioneer Inno) hooked up thru the back of my f700bt to the aux inputs. Ths works fine right now. However, i just purchased an ipod adapter, which requires these plugs. My question is can i get a ip bus rca connector to hook up the xm radio? how would i set it up on the unit? EXT? thanks for any help, Josh
  11. Sounds to me like you have a poor ground. My assumption is when you start moving the ground is bouncing around causing the unit to reboot, becasue the ground is losing and gaining contact. I might be wrong, but it wont hurt to check
